Analytics
Analytics tells you who looks at your public pages and what they do there: how many visits, which links get clicked, where visitors come from, and how far they go in booking.
Rules & settings in the sidebar, then the Analytics tab — or the Analytics button of the LinkSlot editor or of the Public booking tab. Only owners and admins see it. Two views share the screen: LinkSlot and Public booking.
Common controls
- Period — Today, 7 days, 30 days (the default) or Custom: a Start date and an End date, then Apply, up to 395 days.
- Include bots — identified robots are left out of every figure until you tick it. Detection is a best effort: not every robot is recognised.
- The date under the title is when detailed collection started. Before it, only cumulative totals exist (Lifetime totals), without country, source or device.
| Metric | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Views | displays of the public LinkSlot page |
| Estimated unique visitors | an estimate, without personal identification |
| Clicks | every real activation of a link or button, by mouse, touch or keyboard |
| Click-through rate | the share of views with at least one click |
Below: Activity per day (hover a column for that day's figures), Traffic sources, and the Links table sorted by clicks, with each link's Share of clicks. Filter it with All links, Public pages, Villa links or Social and custom links. View analytics opens one link on its own — for a villa, split between its hourly and overnight buttons.
A created request is a successful submission — not a confirmed booking and not a payment. For money, read Reports.
Where visitors come from
Breakdowns by Country, Region, City, Traffic sources, Referring domains, UTM campaigns, Devices, Browsers, Operating systems and Languages, each with counts and percentages. A visit without an identifiable source counts as Direct / unknown source; a value the browser did not give stays Unknown. IP geolocation is approximate.
To track a campaign, add UTM parameters to the address you share — for example
?utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=summer at the end of your LinkSlot address.
Event log
The Event log lists every event, 25 per page: date and time, event, page or link, location, source and device. View details opens everything recorded for one event, including the IP address and the full user agent. No identity is ever deduced from them.
Raw IP and user agent are kept 30 days; events are kept 395 days.
